Flood is a sad chapter for life which disrupt the pace and cause immeasurable hardship to life, though it is among the lines of natural calamities yet man can prevent it through respective measures, cause of flood cannot be pin point with numbers yet silting and deforestation impact it hard, Through silting in basin of river-water carrying capacity is reduced even less than half, deforestation contribute adversely, Forestation along the rout at the banks of river deep outwards may help the subject to an great extent, creating earthen embankment at crucial points will increase the basin to carry the water safely with respective contour plan of the effected areas in reference to Highest Flood Level may  prevent possibility of flood, it needs proper planing and respective implementation that in true spirit, Excess water can also be drain down to pervious strata underneath through huge rainwater harvesting principle, in present scenario it is curse to life but in control way it will be a blessing for life, May Lord help the cause for immediate relief and impart light for respective measures to check this deadliest truth of Rainy season, May Lord bless all-thanks
